| I've been noticing this plant everywhere lately. Its bloom time seems to be ending here in NY.
Can someone ID it for me? Thanks!! |

| Given your location, that could be Liatris spicta, which is sometimes called Dense Blazing Star or Prairie Gayfeather. The other Liatris species close to your area are L. pilosa, L. psynostachya (limited populations) and L. scarriosa. |
