| Daughter and I were in the overgrown wooded area looking at a pile of old slate shingles when we literally were attacked by the seeds exploding from these feathery leaved plants! We were laughing so hard once we realized what was happening! Plants are only about 2' tall covering about 20' area in shady spot with moist soil. No idea what flowers were since I never saw them. Really like the greenery and would like to bring them closer to the house if worthwhile.
Anyone?!?!?!? |
Follow-Up Postings:

| Hard to tell from the picture but if you meant 2 inches rather than 2 feet, look up Hairy Bittercress, Cardamine hirsuta. Believe me you do not want this plant anywhere near your house or any cultivated area. |
|
| Along those same lines but 2 feet... how about Cardamine impatiens, narrowleaf bittercress. |
Here is a link that might be useful: C. impatiens
|
| Neither of those - I apologize for quality of pic! Leaves are narrow- lance shape, alternating and smooth. Definitely 2 feet tall... thanks for the tries! |
