| This plant just popped up about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I noticed it and was going to mow it down but it looked interesting to me so I wanted to see what it would turn out to be. I just noticed the flowers coming out yesterday. It is currently about 2 feet tall and wide. Please help me ID this beautiful plant/weed. Here are some pictures.

| Jimsonweed. I notice that it is growing next to a pile of soil. The seeds might have come in with it. |

| Well, it is beautiful. Datura stramonium is the scientific name. |
