| In the middle of a lot of travelling this spring, I hurriedly pulled out the weeds, put in several inches of compost and spread basil, lettuce and corriander seeds in my garden, throwing out the seed packs in a hurry. Don't remember if I planted anything else. I have lots of basil coming up, only about 4 lettuce, 1 corriander plant and now 2 kale plants and these odd (but very healthy) green plants. I tore off a leaf and tasted it, just tasted green. |

| Holy Basil maybe? Does it have a distinct scent? |

| It does look similar to holy basil though holy basil has both scent and taste. A picture of year's holy basil is below - I grow it every year. FataMorgana
