| Aucuba japonica , Gold dust plant or Spotted laurel. |

| If this growing in Hong Kong I think it is more likely the tropical Gold Dust Croton.(Codiaeum variegatum) It looks extremely similar to the hardy Aucuba. |

Oh good grief! I am not doing too well with these. Sorry Angela. Thanks Flora and Saltcedar, just as well some of us know what we are talking about. Perhaps I should call it quits. Two mistakes in one day...ouch! Where does it say anything about Hong Kong BTW? Not that I would have said anything different, just curious. |
We all have bad days. Think nothing of it.

| deejaus - I checked the OP's profile, as Saltcedar said, (in blue at the top of the post). I usually try to remember to do it but in this case I also thought the shrubs in the background looked unlike something from an Aucuba climate. |

Thanks Saltcedar and Flora. I must admit, I don't think of checking profiles, I really should. I have Aucuba in my garden. You would have thought I would notice the difference, subtle as it is. I rushed into this one on a first glance....smacking wrist.... |
