is this a peach tree? if not what is it?

This tree has pink flowers at the end of the stem. The petals are elongated circles. The leaves are similar. Any ideas?

Your description of the leaves are not that of a peach tree. Perhaps you could post images of the foliage and the flowers.....up close.

i think.. that if you can not get a close up pic of the flower.. that these wizards are going to be hard pressed to ID an australian tree..

the swing implies.. you have a ladder.. get closer pix
