Unknown Yard Fungus?

I have an unknown yard Fungus, it is similar to a mushroom, but has a brown waxy bottom and a popcorn looking white top. I have never seen anything like this before and could not find anything in google search that may explain what it is. I noticed it growing around an old dead tree trunk about a week ago.
