Malva sylvestris "Zebrina". I grow this in one of my flowerbeds and it is such a good plant here in the Tx Panhandle. It will reseed itself and you can transplant those seedlings, or you can collect the seeds and scatter them in other places. Enjoy.

Yes, Zebrina hollyhock. Cut off the seedheads unless you want it everywhere, for infinity. A weedy plant in my garden. When it's mature like that, it is virtually impossible to pull out with its long taproot. The trick is to twist the stem of the plant around and around, breaking off the small side roots and then the big root comes out fairly easily.

a horrible reseeder.. and after being in love with it the first year.. amused by it the second year.. i got a real hate on for the 20 billion seedligns the third year.. and started round upping them all.. and 14 years later.. i still have seeds germinating from back them ...
