Name this shrub - little blue flowers

My wife and I bought this little shrub at the local Home Depot and inadvertently grabbed one without a tag. We need to know how big it will get before we pick a spot in our garden. Can anyone identify it for us? It's a perennial that's hardy in our area.

Thanks!

Where are you located? Looks like Ceanothus which is common in California.

I was going to suggest a Caryopteris. But I need more coffee and need to find my magnifying glass to look at the blossoms better. Whichever it is, it's pretty!

Yes - this is Caryopteris.

not sure of the name but these get pretty large. i live in the foothills of the colorado rockies and they are common landscape plants here. mature plants are 4-6' high and about the same measurement wide...each plant creates a nicely rounded large clump. they are beautiful and very attractive to bees, there's a cloud of them hovering over these plants at all times...must be a heavy nectar producer.

6 foot, kaliaman? That's enormous for a Caryopteris. Or do you mean Ceanothus?

Wow, I didn't expect so many replies, or so quickly. Thanks everyone! With the leads you guys provided I went to the growers website (the company name was on the pot) and determined that it's caryopteris - either the "longwood blue" or "blue mist" cultivar.

Oh, and we're located in southern Maine. I hope that bees like it - we're beekeepers so that would be a definite plus!

Thanks for the help!

Where you are it may die back during colder weather, start over again in spring. If it lives through the winter - check your (and its) USDA zones.
