Very close:
Euphorbia cyathophora

RE: Need help

I think it is Euphorbia heterophylla.

Here is a link that might be useful: Wild poinsettia

RE: Need help

Euphorbia heterophylla is a synonym for Euphorbia cyathophora, I think.

RE: Need help

It's related to Poinsettia.

Sometimes GW's software doesn't want to let you reply when the preceding post is yours also. In that case, make a change to the Subject of Posting field, and GW should accept the second post. [The software is apparently written that way to prevent spam.]

RE: Need help

Thank you so very much to all of you who took the time to respond!!!! : )
You have lifted the burden of searching for this plant trying to find "creative" ways to describe it.
I will now read about Euphorbia and learn something new! This plant just showed up one day on side my garden and I can see there are two more growing........

Great, helpful folks in here!

Warm Regards
aze
