These plants are growing under maple trees by a parking lot, so about a half day of sun. They are six to eight feet tall, completely unbranched. There is a terminal cluster of many blooms, well-spaced on thin stems, but there are also some scattered blooms in the leaf junctions. The foliage reminds me of dandelion and the tiny blooms remind me of chicory, but are only 1/2" across. The chicory by the highway has much larger blooms and is never this tall.
