Maybe Not Violets?

These small plants had leaves like Viola walteri, but had very short flowers and fruits. The larger leaves were on stems to 1.5 inches tall, with serrate blades about 1.5 inch wide by 0.8 inch high. Flowers and fruits were on recurved pedicels about 0.75 inch high. I thought the calyx had 5 lobes, but see in the photo that one is linear, and the next is a larger bract that's lifted at its end (so, 6 total?). Fruits were purplish, and 0.3 inch high by 0.2 inch across.

Yes - it's definitely a violet.

Cool. Cleistogamous flowers are always interesting, and pretty much drive me nuts initially. Thanks for the quick responses.
