Unknown houseplant with red/white flowers.

Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum. I was wondering if anyone can help identify this flowering plant I've had for several years.

It has a woody stem and a habit of growing new flimsy, vine-like runners everywhere. When it flowers, the white part emerges first, and is also the last to wither away. The white part opens up to reveal a red ball, which later unfurls into what you see in the picture. The red flower drops dead in less than a week.

Anyone know what it is? I've tried looking for it on the internet, but I can't find anything that looks remotely like this.

I believe it's Clerodendrum thomsoniae.
