This gorgeous chartreuse plant is less than 6 inches tall, has pale pink flowers. Does anyone know what it is?

That might be it! I'll go back and smell it to see if the leaves are lemony. I should have mentioned my mystery plant seems to be growing out of the center and flopping to the outer like catmint does, although much shorter. Would thyme grow like that too?

Compare the flowers to thyme.

Lots of gold or chartreuse foliaged thymes. Could also be 'Lime', 'Lemon Sorbet', 'Golden Lemon', 'Argenteus' or any number of other selections :-) But it IS thyme. Yes, thyme can grow in the manner you described - it is only one of the creeping or groundcover thymes that is very flat and that roots as it goes.

Thanks all for solving the mystery. I'm definitely going to get some!

I went back to have a second look at this. The leaves have absolutely no aroma, I think it can't be thyme then. Any other ideas?

Can you post close up photos of the foliage & flowers?

Here's a closeup of the flowers. It is still blooming in September. Thanks!

If it turns out not to be thyme, maybe a dwarf Spiraea?
