It's a little hard to see the plant details, but is is some sort of Portulaca? What do the flowers look like?

No, not a portulaca. We have a wild one here, but that isn't it. I am in Texas and have this same weed in my yard and don't know what it is, either. The wild portulaca has little purple flowers right now, and doesn't grow in the St. Augustine, but in cracks in the pavement and other dry areas.

Probably an aster. My parents have something similar that makes up like 30% of their St. A. lawn, lol. But it blooms in the fall and turns their backyard white and the bees and butterflies love it so they don't mind.
