Obedient plant

Yeah, physostegia...was it near water ? And what state ? (there are three common obedient plants)

It's a co-worker's garden, here in New Hampshire. She sent me the pic. I've not seen the plant or garden myself, but I don't believe it's a wet area at all. I think it's growing in a hillside rock garden, from what I can tell in the pics.

Hmm, well if we assume it's a wild plant and it were within the range, I would have said P angustifolia, but since you say the key word garden, I'm going assume P virginiana, the common trade obedient plant, which is also native to NH.
