| This plant is growing in a sidewalk container in Philadelphia. The owner thinks she got it last fall (in which case it would have survived a mild winter on the border of USDA Zones 6 & 7) but she may have purchased it this spring. It appears woody and is growing in part shade. It's about 18" tall and about as wide.
Branching is opposite and foliage is very shiny. |

| Looks like a Coprosma. |

| Thanks, deejaus! I'd never heard of Coprosma, and it definitely looks like it. I can't, however, find a matching cultivar. A Google image search turns of many foliage variations - 'evening glow' is close - but no matches. If anyone knows the cultivar, I'd love some guidance. Thanks. |

| The colours of Coprosma cultivars can vary quite considerably with both temperature and light differences. It is hard to be sure just by a photo. Have you considered growing one from a cutting? Dee. |
