Thank you so much, it certainly looks just like that! My only question is, doesn't pieris usually bloom in spring? This was blooming in August. Although, maybe the red is not flower but just leaf coloration?

Yes, the red are the new leaves. Flowers are generally white, sometimes pink, depending on cultivar.
