| I planted 2 plants labeled "Habanero", but the 2 plants produce different-shaped fruit and the one on the right is so hot, that it's almost inedible.
Any ideas what this could be? Thank you. |

| Perhaps scotch bonnet, which is closely related to habaneros but a bit plumper and longer and a LOT hotter. |

| Besides mislabeled plants - which happens, seed grown plants don't always produce exactly the same shape, taste, or color fruits as others of the same variety. It can be a beauty of seeds and how new varieties are developed. FataMorgana |
