Last Fall 2008 I scattered a few packs of coneflower seeds in a corner of my front yard. In the spring of 2009, hundreds of little seedlings sprouted and when they were about 2-3 inches tall, I moved some to a sunny location.It's now mid August and some are about a foot tall but no flowers. I have read in some posts that coneflowers can take a year or two just to establish their roots. Are these coneflowers or have I been growing weeds? I have some black eyed susans in my yard and the leaves and stems look very similar to these. Thanks for any info.
