| This grows in zone 6 (PA) in the wet area. An annual, but it sows itself quite well when I leave a part of the field fallow. Does anybody know the name? The flowers are light blue with a yellow patch in the throat. The color did not come through, but it is a very nice blue with yellow markings.

| Thank you both. In a way, you are botth right because Carol got the name, and you were right, she is likely to be more correct than ________ (fill in the blank with any name, especially mine.) Mimulus ringens. The notes on it I read said it was a perennial. Great, since there are hundreds of plants, I think I'll try to spread them to other wet areas. This year I notice Cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis) growing alongside the Mimulus. Thanks again. |
