| I found this fruit while traveling down dirt roads. Can anyone tell me if this is an edible fruit and/or what it is called?
The picture is a little bit blurry but the pod is green, the seeds are membraney and white and they grown in rows inside the pod. It looks almost like a lime but when I touched the pod it was very soft. |

| Looks like a Passiflora. |

| Passiflora incarnata, aka maypop or passion flower, they are edible but are only good when they turn yellowish and become soft and wrinkly on the outside. |
