| I cleared an area and planted 6 Hydrangeas. All six are growing nicely, however out of one plant grew this "other" plant or weed. The stem that is growing out of the ground is really thick and as you can see it has some type of flower growing. So strange.
Any idea? Thanks for your help. |

| It looks like one of the weedy Amaranthus species to me. |

| How about a pic of the flower? Kind of looks like a Lantana to me... If so, it's a very fragrant plant, flowers and leaves. Any odor? |
