Corgi(Alfred) and I have been in touch about this flower. I hinted I would like some seeds if he happened to be a seed saver and saved seeds from it.

Here is what he said.
I went out to the garden and one flower that had gone by. I have no idea how long it had gone by, but there were no seeds showing. When I got your message asking for seeds, a red flag went up concerning seeds of this plant. Way back in my memory--and that is quite some distance--I have a file that says that this plant does not give seeds. HOPEFULLY, that file in wrong, but I question it. I will continually check, but I think that I am right, and so is my file, in which case I will not be able to send you seeds.

So, does anyone know if this plant makes seeds and how to harvest them?

Double flowers often do not reliably make seed as the sexual parts of the bloom have been replaced by multiple petals. e.g. double flowering cherries seldom produce cherries. To get a piece of this plant you will probably need to ask for a division of the rootstock.
