It may be a weed if it's growing where you don't want it.

It would be most helpful to know where you found it (geographically etc)...

Do those leaves resemble any nearby trees? I don't think it's M. jalapa.

Could it be a tree seedling? Do you have any nearby with the same leaves?

it is in a flower bed. There are several but not in clusters. There are some four clocks in another part of the bed but they have a darker green leaf and are blooming. I don't see a tree with the light green leaves.

The color of the top leaves is what I would go by, the bottom leaves look like they're dying.

Knowing your location would help reduce impossible suggestions. In regard to seeds, 'nearby,' can mean within a mile at least.

It be a catalpa tree too...show us a close up I guess.

Leaves are opposite one another? If so, my guess is a salvia.
