| None of my avid gardening friends know what this is. A friend from southern Manitoba dug two of them out of another person's perenial beds late last fall. She doesn't know what it is. A friend here in northern Saskatachewan said it was a Veronica Spicata, but they only grow to be about one foot tall. |

| It does look like Lythrum, an invasive plant that chokes all life (except itself) from waterways. A greedy, weedy deceptive massive rooted plant that has no place in the North American environment. http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/plants/loosstrf/index.htm |
