MS vine growing in wet soils

Found this vine growing in Mississippi, zone 7b/8a. It was growing in association with Apios americana, and was quite robust. Full sun, wet boggy soils, along a ditch & into a muddy creek. There were no blooms (or are those blooms?) but what appeared to be spent blooms & early developing seed capsules. Any ideas?

Yes, that looks like it exactly. Thank you so much, Carol!
This vine was growing up and over the side of a bridge along a country gravel road. It was quite impressive. Sorry I missed it in bloom.
