What is this Alien Eyeball plant?

Now, this is a very strange one indeed. I found it growing at the top of a palm tree just outside of Miami FL.

Any idea what this alien eyeball plant is?

Is it a queen palm? That is the fruit.

What a funny picture! Actually there are other palms from which that could be the fruit, Sabal palmetto and Butia being a couple. We'd need a picture of the whole plant to be sure.

Again...I love that image.
