 o
ID This seedling?

Posted by farmboy1 5 Chicago area (My Page) on

I have this small shrub or tree seedling growing in a flower bed. It's leaves and branches are fairly stiff, as if it's a shrub or tree rather than one of the many weeds I've pulled. It is different than the Ash, Oak, Hickory, Mulberry, Lilac and other sprouts I have dealt with.

Any ideas before I yank it out??

Thanks,

vince

If the foliage is opposite, I'd say Euonymus alatus.

Here is a link that might be useful: Burning bush

I agree with carrieb and I'd say it is a weed: pull it.

Thanks, there are some of them not far away, that must be where it came from.
