Yes, 1 is definitely a tomato.

ken, there are only something like a quarter of a million plant species in the world. If you already know what it is, you know what it is. The other quarter million, even you would be mystified.

Assignments like this are totally unfair, and in a perfect world, the teachers who assign them would have to do the same assignments -- but for plants they don't know, or maybe insects (which are even more numerous than plant species).

Last photo on bottom right is commonly called 'cat's whiskers' - I'll bet you can find the scientific name yourself - try using Google Image & keywords 'cat's whiskers plant'

P.S. I know the 1 on bottom left, but cannot recall the name - it is a fairly popular ornamental here in Florida.

Cat's whiskers is Orthosiphon aristatus - what a mouthful. Did you know it's native to Australia?
