I can look out my window, as I type, and see three Viburnums and a Kerria that show a strong resemblance. I need to see flowers.

Of note, this appears to be located in Portugal.

It looks like a Pineapple Sage.

It is reminiscent of a Clerodendrum trichotum which has been cut back to form a bush rather than a tree. Can you say what size the leaves are? And are they slightly velvety?

Do the leaves have a fragrance?

It looks like pineapple sage I have, are the stems 'fuzzy'?

In the lower left corner of the OP's photo are a few unmistakeable fuchsia flowers. If so, the unknown shrub's leaves are at least 3-4" long -- or maybe much larger, depending on the fuchsia.

Thank you guys. I've searched the names you suggested but until now I cant find similarities.

I can tell you that the flower is kind of red/purple (however I don't have a photo neither the plant is blooming right now).

The stems aren't 'fuzzy' and the leaves have a fragrance.

I will put another picture.

Pineapple sage has red flowers, are they similar to the photo below - not my plant, found on web @ this blog:Petals and Wings
(my plant didn't bloom, it's new this summer; just grows really well).

Probably it is really a Pineapple sage. I will wait for the flowers and then I can make sure.

Bruise a leaf and smell the scent. It is called Pineapple sage for the aromatic foliage.
