Can anyone tell me what this is? It is growing in Ohio and that is a 4 foot chain link fence it is growing next to.

Ipomoea carnea aka Bush Morning Glory, Morning Glory Tree? Not a plant I've ever seen so just a surmise.

RE: Perennial identification

Ipomoea carnea is my thought as well, however it seems out
of place in Ohio. They have a hard time surviving colder Winters
in central Texas so I'd expect they'll die that far North. Save seeds
if you want them to grow next year.

RE: Perennial identification

Thanks to both of you. It looks just like other pics of Ipomoea carnea online. I have not seen this plant in person. The pic was sent to me from a friend of a friend looking for ID. I was told it comes back each year so I assumed it was a perennial. Maybe it just reseeds each year.
