Maybe Euonymus japonicus Bravo Gold?

What is the scale of the picture? ie how big are the leaves?

Best guess on the information provided so far would be a cultivar of Aucuba japonica.

It looks like Duranta erecta. I see what look like thorns on the leaf axils, which is one ID feature.

Edited to add: Sorry, The pics in the attached link don't look like your plant, but I am thinking of a cultivar, 'Gold Edge', which does. I'm just having trouble finding a reliable photo link. I've seen it in person, though, FWIW.

Yes, variegated D erecta 'Golden Edge' does look like a good match. In which case it won't survive the winter outside in E Pa if I understand the zones correctly. Is this plant in a pot?

OK, here's more info and photos. As floral_uk says, it's not hardy in zone 6.
