Are the flowers like these? If so, compare to Desmodium, there are many species.

Nope, but thanks for trying. I searched various Desmodiums, but none resembled the stem structure or flower of my plant. The flowers are very light pink, almost white.

Maybe some type of bamboo?

Marc, not bamboo that I know of.

nonmember, that is real close but I wasn't able to find a clear picture of the three leaves around the stem pattern, and also mine has never flowered as much as some sites show Euphorbia xanti doing. I will take another picture when it blooms because I think the bloom is different.
