That looks less like a seedling than an emerging bulb. I don't know what would be likely to be appearing in your area at this season.

Your probably right, it probably is a bulb i wish i'd of met the older owners to get a list. Your guess would be far better than my own.

It's more definite than a guess. It's a bulb. The only question is which one. Keep watch - it might be an Autumn bloomer.

many of the spring bulbs.. send up green shoots in fall ...

many look the same ... or so close.. you cant ID ...

one thing for sure.. once it flowers ... it will be IDable ...

IMHO ... its worth waiting to see ... if you need that spot... dig them up.. and replant them elsewhere.. immediately ... they will never know.. this time of year ....

It is in some prime real estate but how it looks so crisp, clean and cute i think i may just let it do it's thing. But since transplanting bulbs this time of year will cause no harm i know of other bulbs i would loved moved.

Thanks for the tip, i shall keep an eye on them two bulbs.
