but seems more robust and I don't ever trmember seeing flowers on it.It is in a very shady area in under trees.
It is about 2 feet high and maybe 6 feet or so in diameter.
Since I think I can only upload one image per post I intend to reply to this post 2 or 3 times with different pictures. |

| Not Vinca minor or major, Lucy. Maybe Sarcococca ruscifolia? |
Here is a link that might be useful: Sarcocca ruscifolia.

| Sarcococca crossed my mind as well but the habit looks a bit lax. Possibly Leucothoe? |

Thanks! Well it is the first time I noticed this plant in the 25 years I have been in the garden. So I think I will have the patience to wait until next year when I will keep an eye on any flowers. That might help. I didn't notice any berries on it today -I will have a closer look tomorrow(maybe I will be able to see where any flowers or fruit have been if they have dropped off) |

| Leocothoe was my first thought as well. |

| I'm definitely still going with Leocothoe. |

| Yep. Now I see those old flowers I'm going with Leucothoe too. |

thanks. I will keep a look out next year for the flowers. Maybe I can find other spots in the garden for it as it seems to have spread out via its roots and so I will easily propagate it. I am learning that Leucothoe is supposed to be useful grown next to Rhododendrons and I have a few of them. |
