Trying to identify the plant in the image for my parents. Have tried a few "name that plant" sites allowing you to enter search criteria. The closest I've been able to find is the following: http://goo.gl/RF3uyD (I've shorted the URL because the real one is absurdly long).

Here is what I know about the plant:

- It's in northern Delaware
- It's bloomed around August for the second year in a row
- Flowers stay until about late October, early November
- The flowers are pink, each having 5 petals
- The leaves are green, and they look strangely similar to clovers
- The plant "dies" over the winter

My mom likes the plant a lot and would like to know how to properly care for it. Things like,

- Can it be potted?
- How much water does it need?
