New House - Several plants need ID

Hopefully this is my last ID post :) I bought a new house with a lot of beautiful landscaping, and I want to know how to care for each of the plants, prune them, etc. But it's hard to google care instructions if I don't know what the plants are. If it helps to ID these, the realtor said most of them are 'drought tolerant.'

First, I have 3 pictures of a berry tree. One neighbor claimed that in spring it smells awful (like death, her words). I am not sure if this is true or if she misidentified the tree (if it's true, I'm happy to cut it down!!)

The rest of the pictures are pretty landscaped plants.

Other plants:
#2: What is the plant that is hanging down the wall?

#3: What is the plant in front, the drapes over the wall?

#4: The tall palm-like plant?

#5: The spikey plant on the ground. The grass spikes are actually sturdy and can stab you if you aren't careful.
