Can you identify my alien?

I have a "volunteer" plant that is now about 5 feet tall. The stem keeps sub-dividing into 3's. There are flat whorls of leaves (2") that wrap around the stem. The main leaves are 8-10" long. The small flowers are purple, with a slight fragrance.

Looks like some type of Solanum.

This picture shows the smaller leaves that srap around the stem. The first 2.5 feet of the stem are bare, then it starts sub-dividing into 3 stems, each with the wrap-around leaves and larger leaves.

Solanum mauritianum?

Looks like it. According to Wikipedia, grows to over 30 feet and all parts of the plant are poisonous. Native to S. America. INVASIVE. Hmmm. This thing is coming down today!
