Purple and green leaved shrub indent?

| Hi, this plant was here when I bought the house and I love it but don't know what it is. Not terribly cold hardy, it died all the way back to the ground a couple "winters" ago but it's a fast grower and came back strong. Leaves are dark green on one side and deep purple on the other. It has pretty pinkish purple flowers in the spring. Thanks in advance! |

| Here's an additional pic of the whole plant. I'm in Central FL on the east coast. I came across the Okinawan spinach when I was searching on my own. The leaf coloring is spot on but I don't think that's it. My plant is definitely more of an upright shrub than a groundcover as the spinach is described. And I found a few pics of the spinach flowers and they're completely different. |
