| Amaranth to be sure. Perhaps Amaranthus retroflexus. It is a common weed across most all of the US and Canada. Left unchecked, it can get quite tall. I grew up calling it "pigweed" and "redroot." Maybe one of those names rings a bell with you? FataMorgana |
