Goldenrod ID Help

Posted by cpackjr z6 WV (My Page) on

I have been trying to nail down the ID on several Goldenrods. So far I have found Grass Leaved, Blue Stemmed, Wrinkled Leaf, White and Tall Goldenrods.
This one has distinct pyramidal shaped flower head on single stem, with lance shaped, smooth edged leaves. I see it often along the road ways; the flower head and single stem giving it an arrow like appearance. Thanks for any help

Looks like Solidago canadensis.
