If you're looking for a variety name, that's going to be very difficult as there are hundreds.

If you live in Tidewater VA, it could possibly be a Southern indica, like 'George Taber' (or not!)

But if you are in a cooler part of VA, where George Taber is not hardy, I would have no idea.

If it is blooming right now, there's a chance it could be one of the Encore azaleas.

And yes, it definitely is an Asian azalea.

You could also ask on the Azalea and Rhododendron forum.

Thanks everyone. I'm east of Richmond VA on the Northern Neck. It is not blooming now but blooms after all the other azaleas are finished.
