Your page says you are in Australia? Where is the picture taken and when?

I am in Australia but this picture is one I found online, It is a southern home in America. I know the plants probably aren't in Australia but I thought it was worth a shot.

That was my thought - trimmed and shaped a bit. Lagerstroemia's common name in Australia is spelled with an "e" - crepe

In the U.S. there are many arguments about the spelling, but Southerners (in the American Southeast) prefer an "a".

However we spell a common name, the latin is the same (usually at least) and actually the phonetics are the same in this case.
