The fruit and leaves look like something from the night shade family, probably annual

No guarantees, but:

Looking through USDA's photographs (which are far from complete), the best match I could find was Solanum triflorum (Cut-leaf nightshade). But since most of the species had no photographs in USDA's database, that doesn't mean much....
