| I thought this was Belladonna (one of the things I planted a while back). However, it does not look like any of the pictures I've seen. It has jagged leaves. (it hasn't flowered yet or made berries) so I am not sure.
It is on my balcony and I don't understand how it could be a random weed as i grew the seeds in those compressed soil disks. Unless perhaps stray seeds in the wind made their way into what I thought was my belladonna, and was the only thing that sprouted in that section). It could also be Henbane or Black Mandrake... and who knows what else I planted.. My labels got mixed up and on vacation many didn't make it. I also planted out of season. I had originally posted this in the Botany forum as I didn't notice this one here. It was suggested I re-post here. Thanks in advance!! |

| I agree that these are foxgloves. I think the plantlet on the far left may be something else that's crept in there. |

| Thanks! I had planted seeds for that and thought that it had all died off in tiny seedling form, so I didn't even think to mention it. Will it come back next spring? Thanks again! |

| Foxglove is a biennial. You'll have to check for hardiness in your zone. But as long as that is not a problem, yes. Blooms second year and dies. Start more seeds next year to always have some foxglove in the garden. FataMorgana |

| Interesting set of plants you are growing. Are you setting up a poison garden? |

| Thanks for all of the replies! I am not setting up a poison garden, but the picture on the link you shared is really pretty. I would mostly be using the plant matter in little satchels and in charms to place on my altar. :D Thanks for the link though. Very interesting! |
