Eatable fruit?

This vine comes up voluntarily and tries to take over the north side of the garden, and trees. Today I noticed fruit the size of olives being produced by it. They look like black olives, but they are dark green. I broke one open and took a small taste of it. It was sweet, but I was afraid it might be poisonous. Does anyone know what type of vine it is, and if the fruit is eatable? I have photos of the fruit also, but can only post one photo.

See if it looks like this photo. If so, it might be Melothria pendula (Creeping Cucumber).

Here is a link that might be useful: Creeping Cucumber

Jekeesl, That is it! The fruits look exactly like the one in the website. Thank you for naming it spot on. The fruit was sweet like a cucumber, yet I don't know if I can nibble them as I would a small sweet cucumber. So the quest continues. At least I know its name now. Thankyou!
