Weed or Flower?

In the center of the photo... The coneflowers went away a while ago, but now something else is coming up in late October, despite evening frosts. I'm wondering if it's a weed of some sort or another perennial flower?

Thanks!

The tallest one about to bloom is Echinacea purpurea. Around it are things that look like Leucanthemum vulgare, Solidago and Sisyrinchium.

Wow, that sounds like quite a flower bed I have going there!
Thank you for the expert and detailed analysis from such a lousy picture!

Do you think the 'Solidago' might not be a 'Epilobium sp' as the leaves seem to be opposite, Solidago are alternate.
