Name That Plant!

ID variety of possible acacia ...

Does anyone recognize this plant that volunteered in my yard? With the leaf pattern and thorns it's possibly an acacia or related species. Acacias are common in my part of Texas (San Antonio), but I'm not aware of any growing close by my home. The seed could have come from city mulch.

Might be Acacia farnesiana.

Acacia farnesiana, or 'huisache' is a common tree along the highways and byways around San Antonio.
