Thanks. I hadn't realized there were morning glories with different types of leaves. I am going to leave it and see if anything comes back next year. It is near a load of rip rap, so I could use something to cover the rocks.

it is a truly unique color in the gardens.. especially in that size of blue ... not a lot of big blue flowers .. and this is a real blue.. not one of those purple flowers that catalogs call 'blue'

its one of the few heavy reseeders.. that i have kept around.. simply for the color ... else .. being a PIA reseeder.. it would have been gone ...

the blue cultivar.. will genetically degenerate.. over many years.. throwing other colors .... usually those from which the cross came ...

Ken - I'm in z7b, NC. Yes, I meant maybe it will drop some seeds and grow from them next year. The flowers are not very big, and yesterday there was a lavender one.
